You may be a little tired of pumpkin now that we’re past Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Or maybe you went overboard with the grocery store sales of canned pumpkin puree that you’re looking for something else to use it for.
The other day, the hubby and I went over to my parents’ house for dinner. Bison chili for the meat-eaters, tempeh chili for the vegetarians (and I am the lone ranger in this category). My mom has been wonderful at going out of her way to make sure I can eat if she invites us over for dinner.
Growing up in the South has allowed me to sink my teeth into some pretty tasty biscuits. Most of them have been doused in butter or–before I became a vegetarian–sausage gravy, but honestly, I never cared about the toppings, I just wanted the fluffy goodness.
