Being home on maternity leave means watching a lot of the food network channel. That can be pretty detrimental to my diet considering it makes me hungry ALL…THE…TIME.
Granola is one of my favorite power snacks. Full of protein, healthy carbs and with a slight sweetness and plenty of crunch, it’s my go-to snack recipe.
I don’t mean to brag, but I am the BEST person to travel with (IMO). Before you go thinking that I am full of myself, realize that I’m talking about the fact that I always have homemade snacks when I travel (and I do share from time to time). That’s what I think makes me a great travel partner.
Happy Halloween! I hope everyone is excited for a night full of candy (that’s what Halloween is all about, right?). I don’t really care for candy. I know, it’s weird. My sweet/dessert of choice instead would be ICE CREAM.
I can’t remember the first time I had plantains (which are actually not pronounced “plan-TAYNs” like most people think – they are pronounced “PLAN-Tuns”). All I remember is that they looked like bananas, so surely they tasted just like them too.
